2012 Charity Contest Donation Update:
The East Bay College Fund has emailed me that through this January 31 they’ve identified a total of $4,325 coming from 20 Charity Contest-related donors .
The average of a little over $200 per donating Contestant seems quite generous. But there were 38 individual entries in the Charity Contest. Even if a few Contest-related donations were missed by the EBCF, it still looks like a fair number of 2012 contestants haven’t yet come through with a donation.
So, if you were a 2012 contestant and have been tardy about fulfilling your pledge, please do so before too much more time has passed.
Here’s the link to the EBCF website:

The East Bay College Fund also informed me that they were planning to link an individual young scholar in their program to the Biotech Charity Contest donation pool. They will then periodically update me on the scholar’s progress and I’ll pass the info along. Wouldn’t it be a wonderful coincidence if we wound up with a scholar who pursued a career in biotechnology?
Peace & good health,
Bulba
