there are other explanations. That is a high speed photo. Because even smokeless gunpowder produces smoke.



Lighting can also be a factor. Which could be why the smoke from the right port cannot be seen.

One person identified the thing in the top barrel as a sub-caliber barrel insert. Probably for a .410. Which would explain the lack of recoil.

Skeet targets aren't always at a high angle. Maybe he missed the first shot and took a second shot. db claims that the bottom barrel is often used for the first shot because it reduces the tendency to kick the barrel up.

Not saying any of this is the case. But it does fit the facts without the need for a conspiracy.
