Suspension of LL's Posting Privileges Here (Yet Again) ...
Michal,
Evidently you wear SI Bans as a badge of honor. No less than 10 individuals have banned you from some 16 boards. Many are long term members I respect and some are respected SI Admins that work diligently on our behalf.
I realize that you have extreme difficulty accepting the fact that since mid-'99 under go2net's ownership and Bryan Burdicks's (BryanB's) management as SI's membership was expanding rapidly expanded that the capability for a registered SI member to not only found a new SI board but to moderate it was established and moderators were given the limited privilege of instituting a subject/board ban. There was good reason for this. Many of the boards had turned into swamps. Netiquette was increasingly unobserved. Food fights had become way to common, so had vulgarity, and so did denigration and disrespect of fellow members. SI was becoming Yahoo, overrun by yahoos. Some board contributors refused to follow posting guidelines, protocols, or rules established by the boards' various founders.
This is an actively moderated board. General and somewhat flexible posting guidelines are published in this board's header and revised from time to time. You just violated the most stringent of those guidelines ...
"Disparaging remarks about or to other board contributors is strictly prohibited."
Generally when I administer a board ban (which is something I do not relish doing) it is of relatively short term duration. You and I have been down this road way too many times, however, so this ban will likely remain in affect for at least the first half of this calendar year. In addition I am doing something I seldom do. I am filing a TOU violation report for a 'personal attack' and yet another incidence of board disruption.
Please do not post a PM to me with the type of vulgarity and profanity you indulged back in November of last year or fill up my private inbox with the serial posting of inanities like you did in December. Should they occur those also will be reported as TOU violations to SI Admin who all justifiably appear to have you on a short leash, so I'd really like to avoid having to do that.
I've appreciated many of the contributions you have made to SI throughout the years that we've both been members, have enjoyed many of our exchanges and am a fan of your photographic skills, but I'm appalled by your constant and ongoing disrespect for SI Admins (starting with SI Dave when you became 'done, gone') who work tirelessly on our behalf and fellow contributing members of our community.
Prosperous Investing (and/or trading).
