GWM: My gut says its volume/liquidity related. For example, before the open I placed a what I though was low $11 bid; never thinking it would take. Why did I figure $11 ? Because it appears that earlier trades, till about noon, could be non-west coast traders and thus low volume. Then during the last 3 hours volume picks up from I assume west coast traders. (This is just speculation on my part). Anyway I low-balled the offer thinking that a thin trade climate might work in my favor if someone wanted out bad enough. I think my thinking was right but I didn't dream $10 was the better price.
