Maybe you enjoy being contrary..........taking a stance that is opposite of the people with whom you are communicating.

The topics presented here are generally controversial. I don't see any point in echoing someone elses view. I would rather just rec it... including rec'ing an lol when I see the humor. I am not always contrary but I try to always present another point of view, even if it is just another piece of the puzzle.

I am nagged as you put it because you are trying to convince me that guns is a minor problem in this country and there are more important problems that require our attention........as if that attention is limited. Not only do you sound like a winger but its a very narrow view of what's happening in this country.

I don't think guns are a minor problem, so I couldn't have been trying to convince you of that. I have been trying to convince you that there are more than one issue related to guns. I've narrowed it down to 2 issues for the sake of argument.

1) The right to bear arms has a long and good history of what makes our society strong. 2) Criminal use of guns is a separate problem.

Everyone would like to stop criminals from weilding guns.

I've pointed out that focusing on conservatives who value their gun rights is a distraction from getting to a more serious problem, which is guns in the hands of people with criminal intent. You (and other anti-gun people) refuse to consider the issues separately so we have this huge noise making devise going back and forth between conservatives (who are no threat) and left-wingers who just want a win for the team. You treat decent people as though they are the problem, which they are not, and we go round and round accomplishing nothing (except selling more guns in one month than were sold in the previous three years). Doesn't that seem counter productive to the cause?

Not only do you sound like a winger but its a very narrow view of what's happening in this country.
Granted on this particular issue I am solidly backing conservatives. Do you imagine your view as broad or open minded?
