Brumar, Rhee makes a very powerful point about trying to serve the system vs. trying to serve kids.

How long would it take to fix the system? How long HAS it taken? No parent in underperforming school districts can afford to wait. Kids have a nasty habit of growing up on you.

Vouchers aren't the ideal solution, but they do help kids that need it the most, and they help now.

Democrats, especially teacher's unions, don't like to hear anything that goes against their collectivism, but that's how beholden they are to their ideology.
