First off, you know jack shit. "Amamenijeehad" is not a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Morsi now endorses peace with Israel. Yes, he's grandstanded in shitty ways, but Israel's leaders do too, as do ours. Many of our leaders and Israel's leaders deny the Palestinians' history and the bad things that have happened to them. Rhetoric is rhetoric.
The guy is not a danger to our security, and he's holding together a volatile country that has been keeping the peace in Israel. Once again, he was democratically elected.
If maintaining peace with Israel is an objective of ours, then even if we have to buy Egypt off, that's what we should do. Frankly, if I were Obama, I wouldn't be giving Morsi any money, but I wouldn't have given it to Mubarak or Netanyahu either. But thus is realpolitik.
