The interesting thing for me is that the profit share for Apple actually went up in Q4. We have had reports that iPhone 4 and 4S were a big part of the mix of iPhone overall sales but Apple's profit share went from 69% for 2012 to 72% in Q4.

Apple & Samsung capture 103% of handset profits as rivals lose money

So, increasing market share is eventually supposed to lead to increasing profit share. So far, it still ain't happening for Android.
