Hi combjelly; Re sea levels rising 3mm/yr recently.

The reason it's not alarming is because sea levels have risen at that level (or faster) off and on for as long as we have records. Sea levels drop too.

At the moment sea levels have been steadily rising since the bottom of the little ice age a couple hundred years ago. They'll start going down when we have the next downward movement in temperatures.

To see a significant trend in sea level rising requires at time scale much longer than the 20 years or so that they see the recent 3mm. If you bothered to read the peer reviewed literature on the subject you'd know this. Instead, you get all your information from fanatical lefty blogs. They fill your brain with mush, but the pablum is agreeable to you and you don't bother to look for yourself.
