i'm a big user of pnf charts but something i use in conjunction with them is a regular chart--since your using stockcharts put in a 15 day moving avg and a 30 day moving avg--look at any stock you want--i also put in a 50 day when the 15 day moves above the 30 day is usally a great time to buy--and when the 15 day moves below the 30 day is a great time to sell--look at apple--it would have gotten you out back in oct-- with the pnf chart i like it to be on a positive trend(like jdsu which just recently turned positive) and i like the rs vs spx to be favorable--if you have all 3 of those things in your favor you have the deck stacked in your favor i pretty much only look at sectors these days-- just my opinion and method for what its worth
