Methinks Microsoft will spend hundreds of millions marketing it and sell a few million of them to fanboys. Yup. Pink Zune.
The only real competition in that space is coming from Android devices. Big threat. HUGE. Saw that on the trains, plains and taxis, just last week. Samsung all over the place. Didn't used to be like that. Used to be all iToys. Not anymore. Not by a longshot!
On another note, it's nice to see the Tanker thread slip down the list of most popular stock threads on SI. Considering over 90% of the posts are from the Head Tanker and his paper trading buddy, posting to each other, its placement in the top 10 isn't much of an accomplishment. Irrelevant number crunching. For example, this thread is relatively popular in the Coffee and PU drinking, radish munching forum. Yet, most of the posts is me, blahblahing to myself, with only 28 people marks (some of which are all the SI Admins, making sure I tow the line, plus some lurkers, hi tanker kids and Eric, so it may be a wash), including mine. Pathetic.
Those numbers don't matter, except for the 27 people paying attention, and dreaming along... :-))) |
