This highly unimportant list of negatives from the hyperthermia itself made me laugh: "Hyperthermia-associated toxicity consisted of discomfort because of bolus pressure (3%), power-related pain (7%) or position-related pain (17%). " Compare those to the common and serious side effects from radiotherapy (which is even cancer inducing!) and chemotherapy (which are simply terrible to endure).
