We've had this debate so many times even the worn tires or worn. The principle, largest, grandest, most massive reasons for the current debt crisis can be located squarely within the eight years of GWB's lackluster years: two wars without paying for them, a drug benefit without paying for it, and economic policies that exacerbated an economic downturn.

There's really no debate about all this. And Krugman's point about Boehner's smear is well taken.
