We're supposed to get up to 10" in the Twin Cities tomorrow. Public employees at their best! The first snow of the season really caught the roads folks (not the plow drivers, the bureaucrats that dispatch them) flat footed. No reason 10" in November should be unexpected or beyond their capability to deal with, but it took at least a week to get the roads back to some semblance of normal winter shape. They've done much better in subsequent falls but it doesn't bode well for the future.
