When you are not strong enough to mount an effective offense, the only way to fight is defensively. We must defend against every attempt to disarm us or face the known likely consequences. Dr. Carlson with his wonderful speech awoke something in me. He laid bare all of the destruction political correctness brings. He encouraged me to push for alternative solutions, and made it clear there are other ways to do things besides the worn out and ineffective ways the left has been pushing. What has come with this push for more gun control is that a clear line has been drawn in the sand. I actually believe in a strong offense and think we should be more upfront and relentless in pushing for our rights and demanding our solutions. We've been on the defense too long, and it is has been a fruitless endeavor. Like Dr. Carson, I think it is time to become very vocal.
