Buying PC's online. The comments were pretty funny<ggg>. I'd like to see a survey of corporate purchasing managers. As an individual, I see the Dell site as ok... nothing special. But they have been rolling out new things like troubleshooting modules and private web pages for selected corportate accounts... truly bending over backwards for these customers, something us consumers really can't see or appreciate. Dell site is functional, Compaq site is slick, but you can't buy online. Gateway is a lot like Dell's and they have a much stronger home consumer following... looks like their site was preferred. Need to revisit Micron's and try to find Apple's. I would bet Apple's site is full of eye candy. MEATHEAD
