I wish I had the clout you attribute to me. Actually my cheerleading had almost nothing to do with the rise in the price and it will have little to do with the next rise which is about to start. I think they are getting the drill set up set up so to speak and we will finally know if they have what we all hope they have. I started the thread way before I lucked into being offered one of the offerings and had already bought a huge chunk of stock before that happened. That was just a fluke actually. The thing that actually made the stock rise was speculation that they would get a major partner. I think Nick Reeves who is actually a pro had more to do with the rise in the stock than anyone else. Even he could have only a limited effect. A speculative rise gambling that they would get a big partner was a reasonable bet based on what they said, namely that they were looking for a major partner to go into production with. When that did not materialize the stock went back down but I think they will get a major partner as soon as they do their test well and assuming it works, the partner should follow. I think anyone who followed this thread knows that I personally felt SIR was a buy under .45 before and again recently. Both times I think I will be right, as I certainly was the first time since anyone could easily have gotten at least a double. Anyone who bought it under .45 on this correction will most likely get another double as soon as they announce they are going to drill and they should get a much higher multiple if they hit. No one is a sheep or should be. I myself often buy stocks that people like on SI, and do not consider it sheep behavior. It simply is speculating. The bottom line is not the people in this play but whether there will be commericial gas in the ground, and that is the only reason to play this as far as I can see. If you have a double it makes sense to take some of your chips off the table in my opinion. Sometimes posts feel a bit irritated like yours did, but I think it is counterproductive to get into that mode of attack and defense. So I hope this clarifies my viewpoint. SI should be FUN and profitable. Buy low and sell high and Caveat Emptor.
