Comparing Dems to Rs is like comparing chickenpox to small pox; a common cold to the avian flu. There is no comparison. Again, why is the democrat party racing to implement the ways of the soviet union here? They aren't. That's the meme passed around by Rs to keep everyone afraid of Dems. Such an approach is effective when people are poorly informed and educated. Read the Soviet constitution, ain't a whole lot of difference between it and today's democrat platform. I doubt you have ever read the Soviet constitution but had you read it you would have been wasting your time. What was said in the official Soviet documents on governance and what was actually implemented are two very different things.
