>> Arkansas law jails tenants who don’t pay their rent

If a person doesn't pay their rent in Arkansas, the landlord can evict them after ten days.

If they refuse to leave after eviction, they are guilty of a misdemeanor, and possibly could go to jail.

I really don't see the problem. How many rent-free days should a person get?

If I own the property and tell you to leave and you refuse to do it, why SHOULDN'T you be charged? (Having lived here a good portion of my life, I've never once heard of anyone "going to jail" in this manner, so it is hardly a major problem).
