Sold my iPhone 4 Friday for almost as much as I paid originally

Most people buy new iPhones with a two year contract, so the consumer's purchase price is way below the "retail" value. Did you pay cash?

My wife just got an iPhone 5 (with a two year contract). She's very happy with it, other than the battery life. She says they battery drains was too quickly.
