<In any event, you can call it whatever you want but if you don't have a decent opportunity to succeed relative to your peers then, regardless of your absolute level of comfort, I doubt you'll be happy. And there's no right or wrong or good or bad about that; it simply is. > There's nothing I can do that many people can't do better. But they can't do everything. I can do things they can't do because they are too busy doing other things to do everything better than I can. I'm plenty happy enough, so it must be working just fine that I can find a little niche in my little corner of the Cosmos to do things that nobody else can do because they can't be everywhere. My efforts don't shake the Earth necessarily, but they certainly help in the shaking process by adding a little bit of energy. If I can get in harmony with big movers and shakers, I add just that bit more energy that helps lead to success. Without that little bit of impetus brought to bear by each of the billions, nothing would happen.

We don't all have to be world champion to make what we do worthwhile. We don't even have to be in the top million. Or 100 million.

Look out for defeatist nihilism sneaking up on you: <there's no right or wrong or good or bad about that; it simply is. > There is right and wrong, there is good and bad.
