I was not aware you had such an eclectic taste in music. I loved the fact that Fun made fun of the fact they were in the best new band category despite toiling in obscurity for 12 years, and I liked their attempt at originality by being rained on while performing, but I just couldn't get into their music... yet. I say "yet" because I often do go grow to appreciate a band's sound over time.

OTOH, during the few years I volunteered to DJ at Yale's radio station when I lived in New Haven we sponsored and promoted this new guy named LL Cool J who we had brought to town. He came to the station to be interviewed and apparently was a really nice guy (I wasn't in the studio when he has that day), got a nice poster for the show (which I may or may not have at my mother's house somewhere), told myself I really need to listen to his music... and never have. Maybe one day.
