Got it. So, Carter wasn't responsible. Obama isn't responsible.

I'm figuring this out now.

D) Carter? Not Responsible for economic probles.
R) Reagan? Not Responsible for greatest peacetime economic expansion in a century.
R) Bush? Caused a recession.
D) Clinton? Responsible for closing the deficit and spurring economic growth.
R) Bush? Destroyed the economy.
D) Obama? Saved the day.

I'm not sure, but I think I detect a pattern in your thinking here.
