He bought the ultimate dream pad when no one wanted it, now it's a dream...and worth millions!
As I shared earlier, my gal had a similar vision in the early 80s. Bought a teeny tiny one bedroom pad on 12th between A and B, for $2222, when nobody wanted it. Not worth millions - yet - but damn close to that dream: neighbor sold his identical pad for $650k last year, which was, historically speaking, not exactly the optimum real estate selling moment.

Gal's not selling. I mean, really. Ever. Next time we'll be there is 20th of May, for two weeks. Priceless. :-)))
talk about a dream life.
Something to emulate as much as possible, that's for sure!!! :-)))
