Maybe, but hundreds of years ago the Luddites thought the same but it never came true. There are now 6 billion people working away even with umpty billion devices and machines doing lots of the work for us. 10 times as many people as when the Luddites were worried about redundancy, but still there's no problem: <This is because it is still cheaper to use humans in those countries rather than machines.
