Wow -- you mean police do bad stuff -- shocking. 86 people will die by the gun today -- children playing with loaded weapons in the comfort of their homes, mothers and fathers being shot by their sons, angry boyfriends murdering their girlfriends, and most of all, people will point their own guns at their own heads and blow their brains all over their own living room furniture or their beds or their clean kitchen floors -- that is a day in the life of America. Do cops go off the deep end? Yes -- and it happens far more often in our gun crazed society than in places where guns are not worshipped as cultural idols. We have a gun problem -- and yes, cops are part of the problem, but by no means are they the heart and soul of the problem. Guns kill. They are designed to kill and they do what they are designed to do -- they kill all kinds of people every single day in America -- mothers, fathers, women and children.

And for every person shot dead in America, the NRA pounds the table screaming for more gun ownership and no gun laws. Every death is a reason to celebrate the gun for the NRA -- and a reason to buy more. Long live the NRA -- and may the souls of those who die because of them rest in peace.
