Democrats' big-government vision requires tax increases on the poor

Usually ignored is the fact that the burden of excessive government always falls heaviest on the poor. Not in wallet extractions, but in lost opportunities.

Reductions in productive activity by transferring from the generative sector diminishes employment chances and reduces availability of affordable goodies. Resources to help the truly needy are stretched, and in medical care are indeed leading to death panels

The swine infecting our capitols have addressed the second part of that set by providing "free" plunder to the indigents they help create. Tocqueville and Hayek long ago noted the corrosive effect that has on character. Charles Murray is another explaining contemporary malodorous results that stretch over generations when creating a dependent class.

The innocent fools who vote for poverty pimps are likely are unaware of what was long done to American Indians or the black underclass. Even facing an expanding pool of white rabble, they haven't been given the tools to connect the dots.
