I wonder if there will be enough push back on this issue to make any change...or is it a done deal?

The IOC makes the rules up as they go, so..anything could happen. But, in reading everything I could today on this, it seems wrestling governing body made the fatal mistake of not spending enough on cocktails and fine wine for the members of the club...

Wrestlers tend not to be very good at that kind of thing.

My gut tells me that they'll rethink this one..

I sure hope so, If you haven't noticed, I am very passionate about wrestling...that sport, and the coaches I was lucky enough to have, made more of an impression on me, and what I became, as anything else in my life. Wrestling is a life lesson.......there's no place to hide out there, no one can help you, you get of it out what you put in, and there is no substitute for hard work. If you don't have confidence in yourself, you are toast. As my great high school coach told us, don't try a move in a match until you've practiced it a 1000 times, minimum.

Coach was a 4x National Champ, and was on the Marine Corps wrestling team before becoming my HS coach.....we were in seriously good shape.

Every day after practice, it was then just him and me, for 15 minutes.....15 minutes after that, I'd be able to get up off the mat.
