Catalytica. I chart it and was surprised that I do. Nice beginning of a trend. I think its got a couple of days left in the quick runup before retracing for the next runup. Nice pick so far. I've seen the spread get wider at the close, but not go above the close. Are you sure you are looking at the best bid and best ask or are you looking non-marketable orders placed after hours? Maybe you have a gap up on your hands, but I've never seen that become apparant before the next day's open for sure, except for after hours trading.
