I heard most of that while it was going on. There was only one comment on that page that I agree with:

I was listening and heard it all until the server crashed. They told him to come out, he didn't, they waited, he fired shots at them. They threw tear gas which is hot while it makes smoke. (Weathered old Cabin in the woods tends to burn easily ) Fire starts on front side of house. (Fire Department staged, still too dangerous to enter) Fire moves around the house with many chances for him to exit the cabin and he does not. Ammo starts or shots starts going off in cabin. As long as any shooting is going on no one is going to enter. The cabin has a basement area which was known because a fireman who grew up in that house let them know he could be hiding there.
No matter what, either he was shooting at them, loose ammo was popping off, or the fire was too hot to enter the Sheriff Deputies did their job correctly.
He could have come out, he did not, he made HIS choice not them.
This was no execution....
Why anyone is coming to his defense is beyond me. He deliberately planned and killed four people who had done nothing to him. He ruined a lot of lives. There are wives without husbands, kids without their daddys, parents without their kids and they will suffer a lifetime because of that evil person.
Being a cop is not an easy job but society needs to have them to protect most of us from those who mean to do us harm.
Those cops on the scene had just witnessed two of their own get shot and knew that one of them was probably not going to make it. What isn't on that tape is the moments after the officers were shot and the panic in the voices calling for help. |
