I think people are naive when they think that NFLX is benevolent while Nielsen-rating governed channels/studios were evil. Netflix is benevolent as long as it has shortage of owned content compared to others. When it has a library - and perhaps even earlier - their data analysis is gonna hit creatives hard. "Oh, last episode was not well watched by the "action" viewers - ratchet up the action in the next one or you're gone sucker!"
