So the parent company owns all levels of cruise line... consolidation. Interesting en.wikipedia.org (Gotta love Wiki!) My guess is the stain from Carnival will hurt the whole industry for new people considering it an option even if the more expensive cruises don't have as many problems... Unfortunately, those sort of problems usually come from the top so it might be taking time to sift down after the consolidation.
