Rn, <<A person has been chosen to be the moderator>> I would agree with you. Why don't we give Clean a chance as moderator and give him some time to grow into the job. He won't be Allen but then nobody who would be selected will be. Give him some time to make the job his own. If you don't like the job he does after a while, then I can see calling for a vote for a different moderator. I think that is an approach that Allen would have liked. And also remember the job of moderator can be a pretty thankless job. JMO though. And good luck Clean. Tough job following someone like Allen, especially under these circumstances and especially when you were as close to him as you seemed to be. Neal
