80% salary and free healthcare for the unemployed, how many people do you really think would be motivated to work all week for that extra 20%?

Seriously, I don't see anyway to begin to counter your position. I think the vast majority of Americans would quit work today if you offered them 80% of their salary and free health care. You don't see a problem with that?

We're already at 2 or 3 workers to one on paying for the current social security recipients.

I talked to a man from communist Romania many years ago. They had no unemployment. If you were walking on the sidewalk at 10am, you were guaranteed to be stopped and questioned. If you didn't have a job, they would find you one.

Is that where this is going, Central Planning?
