I was also one of the people who lobbied for Allen, openly and otherwise.

We disagreed, but he was a man who had balls, class, and when he thought he was right, he'd stand and defend. Rarely seen him change his mind, but that's another matter altogether, and I should be the last to dare talk about that! ;-)

All in all, a stand up guy. We can all dream to grow up to be like him.
