Who knows, there might be a play on Nokia. But, I have hard time believing that they have the potential to be a leader in anything anymore.
They "could" continue to be The Undisputed Leader in phonecam imaging.

Presently they are, for sure. Absolutely.

1. The unbeatable Nokia 808 PureView. 41 megapixels of professional quality imaging - rivals point & shoot cameras - A Marvel. I own one. Adore it. Forget all the negative press about Symbian. Does all I need, and then some, such as off line, GPS only killer, best of breed maps. In sexy, female, turn by turn Czech, when I so desire.

2. The image stabilization and low light software enhancement ability in the Lumia 920 are both also absolutely revolutionary. Why did they not stick that dream 808 camera into the 920? Don't ask me!

3. Ergo, Nokia still is a potential leader in phonecam imaging, where it has been The Leader - bar none - since the beginning of phonecam imaging. Pretty much invented it.

4. Will they continue to be #1? Place your bets! :-)))
