It's just a little weird to picture a mother, sitting with a glass of wine in public, watching her son in a gunfight that was in all probability going to result in his death. There's video of her paying her bill and then video of her arriving home, casually picking up the mail and going inside, with reporters shouting questions at her and advising her that the cabin was on fire.

She did issue a statement apologizing to everyone who had been harmed by him and saying the family didn't condone his actions.
