*AV*--Well, the binary post was just sitting there so I took it.
These guys should not be able to BS any of us in any way.
---First, "My assistant called you x time ago and you said it would be okay to call you with a reco in the future." Nope...classic scam.
--Second. "Hello AV. Just a call to introduce myself. I'm from xxx and have nothing for you today..." READ....The kid is qualifying you. You are put off guard by the fact s/he is not trying to sell anything ...now....so you may give up some of your time. Meanwhile, the little devil is asking more and more personal questions trying to guess your net worth and establish a relationship so next time s/he calls you won't powder the receiver on him/her.
Are you sure you haven't bugged my telephone because you have the verbatim, word for word 1st and 2nd conversations. But you left out the, "C'mon what's a 2000 share trial investment to prove to you what I can do. That's all that I am asking. When I perform for you and establish a relationship, then we move onto bigger investments".
you say, "I don't think so". He pushes back numerous times and then finally says, "C'mon a measley 1000 shares. I know you can afford that. All I want to do is establish a relationship and show you my performance......a 1000 share investment is a drop in the bucket compared to what I can be making for you down the road". They go no for hours, literally, to wear you down. Finally they get the message. Then they have the gall to call back and stoart the process over again with a different putz. When you tell them no way Jose because of the last guy that tried this from your company (and you mention the stock being promoted), you get the "He doesn't work for us anymore and we never recommended that stock to anyone. He was moonlighting."
BTW-I was reading with my 10 yr old and doing Integrated Math with the 14 yr old.
