Jim, that is correct. Part of my organization fielded 100 Compaqs back in August. Each of these machines had the AMD 640 branded VIA chipset. I've never really cared that much for Compaqs, but they have always managed to avoid being sucked into totally Intel inside unlike Dell, Gateway, and others. Buckwheat
