This is a cell phone question. I've just got a new Android-based smartphone. In order to use data wireless services I need to turn on a Data tab. This then costs me 5 pesos (12 cents) every 15 minutes that it's on. It's a prepay phone, so I need to load it up with pesos then burn through them with calls and sms messages, then load it up with pesos again.

Twice I've forgotten to turn off the Data tab, and the phone company charges me 5 pesos per 15 minutes even though I'm not downloading anything, and the prepay load gets burnt down to zero.

Does anyone know if there is a way with Android phones to set the Data function such that it automatically turns itself off after a set period, 30 minutes, or something like that?
