Just got off the phone with Alyssa in Salt Lake City with Century Link. They will put a D-Slam in which gives me 20 mbps for 29.99 for 6 months. I am then supposed to call Customer Retention and they will mark my bill for continued reduction. Strange business climate. On a related note I see Century Link up today on heavy volume. Alyssa did say they are being inundated with calls from Seattle to 'cut the cable'.
