Mav, sorry for reposting (positive) news, but I don't have time to read through all the idle chat.

Regarding the CPQ/ZIP deal, I believe this will do more to put ZIP into the mainstream than anything else I've seen so far. Huge indeed. Bigger even than Micron replacing their floppy with the ZIP, given Micron's smaller market share. (But I do love the Micron deal.)

I just wish CPQ would hurry up and include ZIP in their gorilla, their sub-k system. They will of course, eventually, thanks to things like cheap HD's, etc. I simply don't see how any other IOM-type storage company has a chance at this market for the near term. Long term, IOM will come out with something to compete with R/W-CD. They'll have too. But for now, it's a runaway train.
