a belated valentines day greeting to all. hope it was a loverly one. sting-ray update ..... we saw a doctor at the centre for infectious diseases in surrey yesterday. h-man's blood test was normal; the xray on his foot was normal. phew! the infection has morphed from an acute infection to a chronic one and the doctor has taken him off the antibiotics so that she can take a biopsy of the wound and surrounding skin on monday, then we'll go from there. we are still returning to haida gwaii on wednesday. the state of the art clinic was quite a culture shock from mexico. everyone had the decency not to ask why we did not immediately return to canada. it was a beautiful cool misty moist day yesterday. it felt sooooo good on the skin. today is perfect. about 10 or 12 degrees and sunny. daffodils are breaking out in all their yellow glory and i'm going to the market to get some for the kitchen table together with a bottle of red to have with pizza tonight. ahhhh .... life is good. -joser
