Reading through brekdown of Phils Spring Training we are starting off with Kendricks penciled in as the #4 started Lannan the #5 and Cloyd "The Swingman" . Pitchers to watch closely; Halladay(show he is fully recovered) Stutes(He is back to square following arm surgery) Defratus(after having near career ending injury last year only to come back and flash his potential.Watch to see if he is first rate reliever) Bastardo(Has more "stuff" of any pitcher on the Phils/his K rate was 14.5 per 5 innings--highest in Phils history. BUT his good day bad day pattern last year UNNERVING. If ONLY he could get in the groove he was in 2011.He would a huge plus) Kendrick had his best season ever AFTER learning increase his tempo(Manuel screaming at him to throw the damn ball, finally got him)--he was painfully slow making his deliveries--hard to believe. And a fellow named Pettibone, age 22) And also Aumont--IOW; They have a abundance of Pitchers--they should get solid group of at least 8.
Their signing Delmon Young was the price was rock bottom cheap and they were desperate for outfielders--but for good reason:
Raul Valdez as a LH specialist only has good chance to make team.
Darin Ruf will getting lots and lots of at bats, and o my will he be watched. Domonic Brown they MUST show he is no longer brittle during spring training/ plus hit in 270 range.
Marlins are a tragic joke for Miamians;theowner took the city for a ride, to get that stadium--and then sold off virtually every player of value, except Stanton. Stanton must feel sick he can't go free into free agency
Seems like everybody is givin WS to Dodgers after shelling out nearly 400 million dollars.
Braves with both Uptons now--we need see their pitching breakdown.
