Ed - more bad-mouthin the gold and goldilox stox again today. You know if gold goes outa fashion and say gets replaced by silver, what are all those people gonna do with their gold toilets. Maybe I can start a new business replaceing gold toilets with silver toilets. So paper gonna replace gold, no more gold rings just paper rings with warnings like this "paper ring is worth whatever today but because we're printin so much paper, it will really only be worth half as much next year or so". Now maybe gold gonna get so unpopular they gonna take it off the peroidic table. Even though the gold brick is still heading south it looks like some of the major producers have bottomed out and gone into hibernation. The intraday Dow chart is a twitchy up and down mess. It goes screamin up, then theres some bailing out, then it screams down until they step in with a life preserver. So gold is simply under "house arrest" till we get throught the tax loss selling. Look for a few takeovers cause the market capitalization of some of these gold producers could be pretty enticing.
