(or at least full of a lot of BS<grin>)

..... that does make you the major Bull......

I have always been a fan of music and Hendrix in particular. I was quite fortunate to be exposed to a wide variety of genres at an early age and would often get caught listening to the radio way past my bed time. This started around the age of 5 or 6. I should say that when I first heard Are You Experienced that it was very much over my head, in the era of Rubber Soul, The Beach Boys, Motown and the likes of Sly Stone. I was a very young lad (barely double digits) when Jimi passed away and I was totally devastated because my parents had promised to take me to see him the next time he came to our town.

The first "real" album that I ever purchased was Tommy, by The Who, when it first came out. Before then, I had been limited to buying 45s or "cut-outs", bootlegs and promotional copy LPs that were in the bargain bins. I saved and ponied up my allowance to get Tommy, which was expensive because it was a 2 record set. My folks thought I was totally nuts when I tried to get them to take me to NYC to see the band perform it on stage!! LOL The dreams of youth....!!
