As a teacher, I am all for improving the education levels in this country and eradicating illiteracy.

I was responding to your comment that "we are a very rich nation."

And I was responding to your comments about improving education and reducing illiteracy.

By stating, "Throwing more money at social problems isn't always a solution. ... maybe we should have some more courageous discussions than who's side of partisan talking points everyone one wants to be placed."

We've been using more money to create the best education programs and have been falling further behind for the past 50 years.

That's absolute BS. Affluent school districts get the best of everything...........state of the art equipment and schools. The rest not so much. We have schools that don't have heat in the winter, broken windows, rats rounding around the hallway etc. The school I student taught in had been patched and patched for decades......mismatched paint, damaged windows, blackboards instead of white boards, one computer room for an entire high school in which only half the computers worked. Teachers having to spend their own money for essential supplies.

Spending too much on education? In your ignorant dreams.

And the beat goes on:

Feb. 14, An Aurora, Colorado is under fire for establishing a segregation program. The after school tutoring program was only for students of color (“For all children of color”). After CBS4 broke the news, the district is apologizing and is allowing white kids in.

Why do you think that is?

"As a teacher, I ..."

You've been saying that for about 10+ years but last I heard (from you), you have never had a job of any kind.

How the fuck could you possibly know? I don't know you at all. You're an idiot.....typical winger.
