As a result, the left has become intransigent on issues that ought to be solvable. You blame others for creating "gridlock" in DC, but the reality is it is your own unwillingness to consider the fact that other people may have a little more understanding of some issues than you do. Importantly, WRT this particular issue, the Left's solution will actually exacerbate the problem, and some of us can see that.
