I've just finished reading all the posts back to November. To clarify my mind I made this little graph. If anyone would like to add or comment to it please do. I thought I might post updates from time to time. As I said I used to be pretty good with Softimage and formZ. I remember running into an article way back in the 90s about photolithography (liquid) 3d printing. It blew my mind. Things have indeed progressed.
