Melissa et al: One idea to make this thing work:
a) private, invitee only thread;
b) each participant sponcers one stock either on the active list or has a candidate for the active list
c) separate discussion threads for individual stocks and one for global issues;
d) scheduled reviews (monthly?) where an elected sub-group (five?) demotes or promotes stocks onto the current thread list.

I will continue working to put togher a site that can do this. Other ideas about how to stock this tread from just being a wall to throw stuff against? after all, SI has threads on individual stocks including many here named...
